Corn Ddu from Y Gyrn, Brecon, Powys, Wales

Here's a better view of Corn Ddu, from Y Gyrn the west. Y Gyrn is a minor summit that you cross on the way up from the Storey Arms, these days an outdoors centre. Crossing all the central Beacons in one day, an idea that did cross my mind, involves a lot of up and down walking, so hill fitness is a definite requirement to do the lot in one go. I got my fill and left the remainder for another day when the risk of becoming benighted is a lesser concern.
