Castell Dinas Brân, Guefron, Denbighshire, Wales

This is a view of the mound on which Castell Dinas Brân sits that I first saw in the spring of 2005. It still captivates me now after the passage of years though there is little sign of that Welsh castle now. In some ways, it is the shape of the land that captures my attention as well as these springtime colours savoured at the end of April 2011. It was the evening of Easter Sunday that saw such joyous lighting for a walk that retraced old steps from more than five years before. Sometimes, walks take one down a memory lane and this was one of those for me.
