Vantage points abound around Llangollen and here is view towards what you see when looking north form Castell Dinas Brân, albeit without the appearance of that other eminence. What you see above is the sight from the track named Allt y Badi that leads from Finger farm down into Llangollen. For part of its course, it looks like any single track lane though the warnings of impassibility for motorised traffic are verified the further along it that you go. Not only does the gradient steepen but the surface turns from tarmac to gravel with water channels developing in the latter to make it a well rough affair. Before their being hidden by tree cover, northward views of the limestone cliffs of Creigiau Eglwyseg are unmissable with Fron Fawr and its neighbours showing to their left.
