Moel y Gaer, Rhewl, Denbighshire, Wales

This is a view of hill that I walked over during November 2014. The scene you see here comes from a visit in January of the same year that saw me trot over Moel y Gamelin and Moel y Faen on a circular walk from Llangollen after a night spent in the town to allow me more daylight hours for being out and about in a pleasant part of the world. The November trip was not as blessed with good weather with a rainy spell coming on me as I made my way towards Moel Morfydd on a circular walk that completed the Llantysilio Mountain set of hills. The above photo shows the sight from the track coming up to the saddle between Moel y Gaer and Moel y Gamelin. A return visit could add more if the sun stayed unobscured, so this part of the world could see further wanderings around here yet.
