Moel y Gamelin, Moel y Faen & Cyrn-y-Brain, Llangollen, Denbighshire, Wales

Here is one of three northward views from near the flat top of Vivod Mountain. What you above is Moel y Gamelin on the left with its right shoulder being Moel y Faen. On an OS map, both of these are near the legend Maesyrychen Mountain as it follows the southward spur out from them too. To the right of the lot is the valley leading to the Horseshoe Pass between Llangollen and Ruthin. What is not so obvious from the photo are the masts atop Cyrn-y-Brain, probably because of their relative size to everything else and the heat haze that abounded on the day when I was out and about on part of the North Berwyn Way that shadows the southern bank of the River Dee between Llangollen and Corwen.
