In this photo, Llandynan looms larger than it does in another photo that you will find in this album. This is a view towards Moel y Gamelin from the minor road between Llantysilio and Rhewl that I chose to walk on my second visit of 2014 in preference to following the Clwydian Way around by Llandynan that goes straight through a wood on its way, obscuring many views as it does so. The scene you see above comes from a walk in November that took me over Moel y Gaer and Moel Morfydd. Unfortunately though, spells of rain set in while I was on those hill tops, so I did not get the delights that I enjoyed around Moel y Gamelin in January of the same year. Still, a walk is a walk and the next day saw me head down to Barmouth where a short out and back walk overlooking the Mawddach estuary saw more in the way of sun and more than compensated for any disappointment that may have manifested itself. In the event, I was not bothered anyway.
