Glyderau, Ogwen Valley, Gwynedd, Wales

Going further down the valley towards Bethesda gains you this view of the Glyderau (Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr). When you hear of anyone doing the Glyder traverse, it means that they are going over these two. It sounded fearsome when I first heard of it, but it now seems tamer (maybe I'm getting used to heady heights) though caution is definitely required in misty, damp and icy conditions. However, there is a version of the traverse that starts out in Capel Curig and ends in Bethesda: some trek.
