The Rhinogydd have something of a split personality. Y Llethr, from which this vista can be partaken, and nearby Diffwys have gentler aspects from so many angles that they might be considered to be amenable hummocks with penchant for cloaking themselves in low cloud. Their eastern flanks are another matter and if you want to get a feel with how they might appear, just take a look at Rhinog Fawr and Rhinog Fach above. Though Y Llethr may be the highest of the bunch, neither of its near neighbours show anything but a rocky appearance. That is not to stay that there aren't ways to get among them or to reach their summits, but they are more testing than others. These look like for options for the more experienced hill-goer then.
