St. David's, Pembrokeshire, Wales

St. David

Off in the distance lies St. David's, the smallest city in Wales. Its city status is due to its having a cathedral and has no bearing on its size. Being surrounded by dramatic coastline and getting named after the patron saint of Wales makes it something of a honeypot. Its proximity to beaches adds to its appeal and ensures that attracts as many different types of visitor as possible, including me for the briefest of durations before I returned to base after what was a tiring walk with plenty of steep ascents to complement its descents.
