Diver Statue, Stanley Park, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

The actual name of this life-sized statue is Girl in a Wetsuit and was created by Elek Imredy in 1972. Apparently, scuba diving was becoming popular in Vancouver around that time and shows Debra Harrington, a friend of Imredy, in scuba diving gear. The name is a striking one and looked odd on Google Maps when I first saw it, but this is an established landmark showing the city's connection with the sea.
