Goodacre Lake, Beacon Hill Park, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

The journey back from Craigdarroch Castle to Victoria's centre took me through a number of parks and Beacon Hill Park was one of the larger ones. It also was one of the more photogenic as the above photo should show. The bridge in fact crosses a small lake and not a river as might be suggested by its sight. Greenery abounded, and the sunshine had lured many to the place even if the scene might suggest otherwise. There are times when I simply await a quiet moment before making an image; excluding humanity can be a form of photographic composition.
