Here is another mountainous scene from near Squamish. What you see here is not a part of the Canadian Rockies but rather the Coast Mountains in the southwestern corner of British Columbia. They may not be as high and many of forested all the way up to their summits, but the sights of bare rocky eminences always attract my attention. In many ways, they remind me of Scotland and Scandinavia as well as the European Alps. In time, I may get as far as the Canadian Rockies, even if that remains to be seen at the time of writing.
