Looking at Tiburon from Angel Island, California, U.S.A.

During my time in the San Francisco Bay Area, I hardly went near the heart of the city. Hearing of the edginess of the Tenderloin District and that parts of the Mission District were little better was enough to ensure that. Nevertheless, I did get a sighting of San Francisco's City Hall on the last full day of my stay. It was as if I was finally bringing myself to overcome fears brought on by tales of lawlessness because I also hiked among some of the East Bay Parks. There was no trouble, even if Daly City did not look its best in the fog that scupper any attempt to reach Mount San Bruno State Park.
