It might have been souvenir hunting that returned me to Point Reyes National Seashore (some mugs accompanied me home from California and one from the Point Reyes National Seashore visitor was a particularly nice find; not getting it on my first visit was what turned my head), yet it also meant that got to savour part of its coastline. This is a southward view after an outbound hike along part of the Bear Valley Trail with some other deviations along trails that were a little too overgrown for my liking. Poisoned Oak is a hazard in California that thankfully did me no harm, possibly because of my tendency to keep skin covered, from direct sun as much as anything else.
