Golden Gate Bridge from near Marshall

This is a wilder view of the Golden Gate Bridge in so many ways. For whatever, the vicinity is frequently by flocks of pelicans who seem to love nothing better than going hither and thither in the breezes. The remnants of fog add a certain haziness and then there is the bareness of the slopes dropping into the Pacific Ocean. There is a real sense of this being a liminal place that attempts to belie the proximity of a busy city. Nature perseveres and thrives wherever it can.
