Looking at Mount Tamalpais from Sausalito, California, U.S.A.

Mount Tamalpais may not be the highest summit in the San Francisco Bay Area, yet it remains a popular. With a height in the region of 780 to 790 metres above sea level, it is not beyond my capabilities either. However, uncertainty about transportation together with the added heated stymied my enthusiasm for an ascent. There were plenty of other places to explore, so I do not feel as if I short-changed myself.
