Looking at Tiburon from Angel Island, California, U.S.A.

San Francisco Bay Area is so far south compared my usual haunts on this planet that heat haze can be a real problem during the summer. Thus, it is here with this view of Tiburon from Angel Island, made on the second day of my stay in the area. What also is noticeable is how yellow the grasses appear at this time of year, while they may be greener during the spring. It is hard not to think of dessication because of a dry climate and I certainly did encounter cacti during my time over there.
